Spring Beauty Staples
Spring is finally here! This means cute dresses, walks in the park, food truck festivals and while I love a great Fall/Winter look, I love the warm weather and less clothes more. One of my goals this year it to adhere to a skincare regimen to keep my skin looking the best it can be. My skin can get extremely dry and patchy during the colder months so having a regimen is imperative. I covered my winter regimen in this post, but now that the weather is warming up, I look forward to trying out some new products to add to my regimen.
- Cleanse - I am still using Andalou Natural Fruit Stem Cell Science Creamy Cleanser in Meyer Lemon. Although I must admit, sometimes I get lazy and use my body wash instead. All of the body cleaners I use are made with natural ingredients, so I'm okay with it. This cleanser is gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling fresh.
- Exfoliate - After using up my eHoney skin's Goddess Glow Cleaning Scrub, I started using Wake Up With Me Coffee and Cacao Masque. My skin feels soft and revived after using this scrub. It has small fine grains which is great for removing dead skin skills without causing irritation. I bought it from Bali so I try not to use it much lol.
- Moisturize - I'm also still using Sukin Super Greens Nutrient Rich Facial Moisturiser because I love it so much. It is lightweight but absorbs into my skin and leaves it feeling smooth and soft. This will deifnitely stay in my regimen.
- Toning - My winter mix of rose water, witch hazel and tea tree oil is all gone, but I still love using Thayer's Alcohol-free Witch Hazel as a toner or as a skin refresher. I found another bottle of the Olivia Care Rose Water at Marshall's so I grabbed it before it was gone. Whenever my skin feels tired, I spray a bit on my face and pat it in. It's an automatic skin pick-me-up!
My overall regimen stayed the same, but a couple of products were switched out.
